As hunting season continues in various parts of North America for the next month or so, I look forward to chronicling the efforts of responsible "one shot, one kill" hunters. Well, except for the unnamed "one shot, no kill, but wait, it was my own foot" guy.

I was going to pass on the unfortunate case of the man who died after falling 20 feet from his sniper perch/tree stand, but then I saw the photo slideshow of people posing with their kills (you can read the article without the slideshow.) The site warns that some people may find the pictures "disturbing," and they're right: in a lot of them you can see the wounds, and I have to wonder how long it took for the deer to die after some of them.
